Our little swimmer!

Easton is absolutely in love with the pool and swimming. Every day on the way home from daycare he says..."pool? pool? pool?" So, Tory or I have been taking him in almost every day. It was Tory's turn last night, so I got to take some photo's and video's. Buying water wings was the best thing I could have ever done! He does so well with them!

Ready...set...JUMP!

I am SO glad he loves to swim! It is so fun, and at times exhausting! :)

*One other HUGE note...we have been "Paci" free for over a week now! His teeth were starting to do some funky things, so after his first Dentist appointment last week, we did it...we finally pulled the plug once and for all. We have had a few HUGE melt downs the past couple of days that left us BOTH crying, but I keep telling myself, "this too shall pass". Yet another sign of his continual passage from baby to little boy. Does it ever get easier on the heart?

Yeah, don't answer that question.

Meeting Johnny-O

Monika, John & Baby Johnny arrived from Hawaii on Thursday AM, and we went to visit on Friday night! I FINALLY got to squeeze those delicious legs! Isn't he the cutest thing ever!?! Monika & John have been living in Hawaii while John goes to school. They will be in CO for a short time then they will be moving back to China.

John was good to entertain Easton outside while I held Johnny inside. Easton tends to be a bit jealous when I hold babies.

I am so glad you guys are here! (Even if it is short lived) You are a BEAUTIFUL family!!

Brotherly Love

Last weekend Matthew was with Easton and me all day Saturday and Sunday...we had such a great time! As Easton gets older he is much more fun to play with, but he is also a little pest at times too! It was fun to watch! Matthew is so fabulous with Easton, but Easton was definitely being a typical "little brother" at times too.
Just before church.

Freedom isn't free...

I hope you all had a safe and wonderful Fourth of July. I think I often take for granted my freedom. This is definitely not on purpose, SO...to all of you have served our Country and who are currently serving, I want to THANK YOU. My family is so blessed to have the freedom that you provide! The freedom to sit on a golf course with friends enjoying a spectacular fireworks display! What a great blessing! Also, the Freedom to serve God!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am ETERNALLY grateful!

Earlier on the fourth we invited a couple of friends over for a BBQ, thankfully they had already been invited by their neighbors, because not only did we have less burgers than we thought, but we ran out of propane mid-grilling! Ha! We finished cooking inside of course, and that was fine for us, but we sure would have looked like bad hosts! (I am sure they would have gotten a good laugh out of it!)

Later that night we met up with The Crowe's! We got to watch fireworks from a golf course, it was spectacular! Julien & Easton had so much fun running around, Ami, James, Tory and I had a great time catching up, and baby Maxwell chilled the whole time. What a good baby, and so CUTE!

I will be back to post more of the weekend in the next few days!
