Go Rockies! (Yeah, we lost...) 11-13

My Mom's side of the family came in to town this past weekend, and a few showed up early to catch the Rockies/Red Sox game...they are from Boston after all, and they did beat us. BOO!! I am actually happy that they got a win on their visit, but I must say I was surprised at how many Red Sox fans we have here in CO!!
Thank you Uncle Bob & Auntie Janie for inviting me & my little man!! We had a BALL!! (No pun intended!) ;)

Quote of the day

On our way home from T-ball practice tonight, Easton noticed the flower he had picked for me had wilted...he got sad for a moment and then stated "Mommy, I don't want to pick flowers for you anymore because flowers die...from now on I am going to pick you sticks, cuz sticks don't die"

There you have it~

Saturday's & this morning...

Saturday's have gotten busier this summer but typically Easton & I sleep in then decide what Mom is going to make for breakfast! This past weekend we had no plans due to bad weather, so this is what a typical Saturday looks like for us...

If you build it...they will come

"Hi Mom! C'mon in!"

"Look, I got my Hotwheels!"

"what's that...I hear sumpin..."

"I am hungry Mom..."

Playing is hard work...time for some home made waffles!!

Now, to THIS morning...Easton often has me get his clothes in the morning, but this morning, as I was getting ready, he decided to get himself ready...it was taking him longer than normal. I decided to utilize the time and finish getting ready. I went looking for him when I was done and this is what I found...

He is so silly, and I love that he is MY silly little man!

PS. If you are wondering...yes, I let him go to daycare this way. :)

T-Ball! GO ROYALS!

And so it begins...my life as a Mom to a little athlete. I wouldn't have it any other way, we are having so much fun!! Starting T-ball out at 4 may be a bit premature, but if he's having fun and so am I , well, then why not! His team is made up of great kid's with super parents! (Thank you God) I know it won't always be like this so I will enjoy it while I can!

"Flowers" for Mom...

One day my son will realize that dandelions are weeds, but for now, I will accept them as a token of his love for his Mommy. :)

Speaking of flowers...this is a beautiful flower from my friend Melissa's garden.
Just beautiful!
